In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Notre Dame (SO) Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Valencia Vikings.
The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Chaminade (West Hills, CA). The Eagles come into the battle with a 7-1 record.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA) in a battle, on Wednesday, August 24. Valencia will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record.
