The Coronado Cougars topped the host Liberty Patriots volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Desert Oasis for a non-league test on Thursday, August 25. Coronado will confront a Diamondbacks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Escondido (Escondido, CA). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 6-2.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Foothill (Henderson, NV). The Falcons enter the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Foothill was knocked off by Boulder City (Boulder City, NV), 3-1, in a non-league test.
