In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Point Loma Pointers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Olympian Eagles.
The Pointers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop's (La Jolla, CA). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 26. Olympian will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Islanders come into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA).
