Ohio High School Football - Avon Lake beat Benedictine

The Avon Lake Shoremen football squad scored 37 points and restricted the host Benedictine Bengals to 15 in the Shoremen non-league victory on Thursday.

The Shoremen now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chardon for a non-league battle on Friday, September 1. Avon Lake will face a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 50-49 non-league loss to Columbian (Tiffin, OH). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Bengals face the St. Francis Red Raiders (Hamburg, NY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 2. Benedictine will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
