The Bridgeport Bearcats football squad scored 26 points and restricted the host Gwinn Modeltowners to 15 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bearcats now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Birch Run for a Tri-Valley - Red battle on Thursday, August 31. Bridgeport will play a Panthers squad coming off a 47-16 non-league win over Carrollton/Saginaw (Carrollton, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
