Ohio High School Football - Briggs knocks off Whetstone

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Briggs Bruins (Columbus, OH) and the host Whetstone Braves (Columbus, OH), observed Briggs's football squad thwart Whetstone by a count of 48-18.

The Bruins now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin Heights for a non-league contest on Friday, September 1. Briggs will play a Falcons squad coming off a 26-14 non-league loss to Westland (Galloway, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Braves play the Bishop Ready Silver Knights (Columbus, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 1. Whetstone will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Silver Knights go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 56-22 non-league win over Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (Cincinnati, OH).
