Alabama High School Football - Murphy topped by Daphne

The Murphy Panthers football team (Mobile, AL), was beaten 19-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL)

The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Carver Montgomery (Montgomery, AL). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Carver Montgomery achieved victory over Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL), 27-20, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Saraland for a 6A Region 1 challenge on Friday, September 1. Murphy will meet a Spartans team coming off a 31-30 non-league win over Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
