The Eastern Quakers football team (Lansing, MI), was beaten 34-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Wayne Memorial Zebras (Wayne, MI)
The Zebras (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Churchill (Livonia, MI). The Chargers come into the Kensington Lakes - East challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Churchill achieved victory over Huron (New Boston, MI), 36-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Quakers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Everett for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 31. Eastern will meet a Vikings team coming off a 23-20 non-league loss to Sexton (Lansing, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
