Eisenhower Eagles (Houston, TX) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team nip the host Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX), 18-16 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Eisenhower improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Conroe (Conroe, TX) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, August 31. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Conroe won 42-7 in their recent non-league test against Paetow (Katy, TX)

With the loss, Morton Ranch drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, August 31. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Kingwood Park won 21-13 in their recent non-league test against MacArthur (Houston, TX)
