Texas High School Football - Horizon topples Jefferson

The Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX) football defeated the host Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX), 15-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Scorpions face the Bowie Bears (El Paso, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 1. Horizon will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 56-32 non-league loss to Hanks (El Paso, TX).

The Silver Foxes (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Rockets enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Irvin was toppled by Bel Air (El Paso, TX), 60-0, in a non-league bout.
