The Lone Star Rangers football team (Frisco, TX), was tipped 41-37 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Texas Tigers (Texarkana, TX)

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Colleyville Heritage nipped Nimitz (Irving, TX), 47-13, in a non-league challenge.

The Rangers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burleson for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Lone Star will meet a Elks team coming off a 35-6 non-league loss to Centennial (Burleson, TX). The Elks record now stands at 0-1.
