The Apex Cougars topped the host Broughton Capitals volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green Level for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 29. Apex will confront a Gators team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Gators record now stands at 3-2.
The Capitals (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Wake Forest gained a win over Franklinton (Franklinton, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
