The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Ballard Bruins (Louisville, KY) and the host New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, IN), saw Ballard's soccer squad beat New Albany by a margin of 5-1.
The Bruins now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Bullitt Central for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Ballard will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, New Albany drops to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Charlestown (Charlestown, IN) to meet the Pirates in a Mid-Southern test on Monday, August 28. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 1-2. Charlestown lost 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Madison (Madison, IN)
