The Bear River Bears (Garland, UT) football edged the visiting Box Elder Bees (Brigham City, UT), 36-29 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bears face the Carbon Dinos (Price, UT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, August 31. Bear River will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Dinos enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Ogden (Ogden, UT).
