In their next game, the Patriots face the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, August 31. Pinecrest will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 29-28 non-league win over Garner (Garner, NC).

The Jaguars (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Pride enter the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Leesville Road defeated Panther Creek (Cary, NC), 35-8, in a non-league bout.
