In Thursday's non-league game, the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) football team smashed the visiting Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC), by a score of 32-0.
The Trojans (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Corinth Holders overwhelmed Broughton (Raleigh, NC), 20-6, in a non-league game.
The Hawks now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sanderson for a non-league game on Thursday, August 31. Triton will battle a Spartans team coming off a 24-6 non-league win over Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
