The Alexander Central Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host North Lincoln Knights to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cougars now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Iredell for a non-league game on Wednesday, August 30.
The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their game against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, St. Stephens dropped by Maiden (Maiden, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
