The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY) and the visiting Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY), saw Barren County's volleyball squad beat Allen County-Scottsville by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Barren County upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Trojans host Logan County (Russellville, KY) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

The Patriots now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Metcalfe County for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 12.
