In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Catholic Central Crusaders soccer squad scored a close 4-0 win over the Weir Red Riders.
The Crusaders (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Brooke (Wellsburg, WV). The Bruins go into the Ohio Valley (OVAC) battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Brooke by Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Red Riders (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV). The Golden Bears go into the Ohio Valley (OVAC) battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Oak Glen nipped Union Local (Belmont, OH), 8-0, in a league battle.
