Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Northwestern Tigers (Kokomo, IN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildkats confront the Oak Hill Golden Eagles (Converse, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 26. Kokomo will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.

The Tigers now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westfield for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 26. Northwestern will confront a Shamrocks team coming off a 1-0 league win over Franklin Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Shamrocks record now stands at 1-2.
