North Carolina High School Soccer - University Christian knocks off Nebo Crossing Academy

The University Christian Barracudas soccer team scored 8 points and limited the visiting Nebo Crossing Academy Bulldogs to 0 in the Barracudas non-league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Barracudas face the Gaston Day Spartans (Gastonia, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina contest, on Tuesday, August 29. University Christian will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 7-0 league win over Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC).
The Bulldogs now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Lure Classical Academy for a Western Piedmont Athletic contest on Monday, August 28. Nebo Crossing Academy will face a Raptors team coming off a 9-0 league win over Temple Baptist (Asheville, NC). The Raptors record now stands at 1-0.
