The Colcord Hornets softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Pryor Tigers to 5 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Colcord improves its record to 2-6 on the year. The Hornets travel to Hulbert (Hulbert, OK) to clash with the Riders in a 2A game on Monday, August 28. The Riders come into the game with a record of 5-10. Hulbert won 6-3 in their recent non-league game against Strother (Seminole, OK)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 25. Pryor will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 13-4 record after their 13-3 league win over Keys (Park Hill, OK).
