The Madison Southern Eagles held off the host Bourbon County Colonels volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lexington Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Madison Southern will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
The Colonels (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Franklin County (Frankfort, KY). The Flyers enter the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Franklin County was nudged by Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.
