North Carolina High School Volleyball - Mountain Island Charter over Butler

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Raptor battle the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, August 28. Mountain Island Charter will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 6-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC).

With the loss, Butler moves to 5-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Garinger (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a Southwestern 4A contest on Tuesday, August 29. The Wildcats go into the contest with a record of 0-4.
