The Littlefield Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Christ the King Cathedral Golden Lions to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.

The Wildcats now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vega for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. Littlefield will battle a Longhorns squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over West Texas (Stinnett, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Christ the King Cathedral drops to 7-7 on the campaign. The Golden lions travel to Sanford-Fritch (Fritch, TX) to battle the Eagles in a non-league contest on Thursday, August 24. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 8-4. Sanford-Fritch won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Pampa (Pampa, TX)
