South Dakota High School Volleyball - Dakota Valley over Yankton

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Dakota Valley Panthers (North Sioux City, SD) and the visiting Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD), saw Dakota Valley's volleyball squad beat Yankton by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Dakota Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Panthers host Tri-Valley (Colton, SD) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Tri-Valley won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD)

The Bucks/Gazelles now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Norfolk for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. Yankton will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
