The Pine Grove Panthers volleyball team (Ripley, MS), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS)
The Urchins (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Belmont (Belmont, MS). The Cardinals come into the Class 2 Region 1 battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Belmont lost by Ingomar (New Albany, MS), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Mantachie Mustangs (Mantachie, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 26. Pine Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record.
