The Sault Area Blue Devils held off the host Garber Dukes volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils now have a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cadillac for a non-league test on Friday, August 25. Sault Area will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Reeths-Puffer (Muskegon, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 3-0.
The Dukes (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Vassar (Vassar, MI). The Vulcans enter the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Vassar was nudged by Capac (Capac, MI), 2-0, in a non-league test.
