With the win, Western Christian upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Wolfpack travel to Marian (Omaha, NE) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, August 25. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Marian lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Millard West (Omaha, NE)

The Jays now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sergeant Bluff-Luton for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. Gehlen Catholic will play a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Tri-Center (Neola, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
