The Newell-Fonda Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans to 0 in the Mustangs league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alta-Aurelia for a Twin Lakes game on Tuesday, August 29. Newell-Fonda will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league win over Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.

The Titans (0-2) will now prepare for their game against South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA). The Titans enter the Twin Lakes game with a 3-3 record.
