The West Prairie Cyclones volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Havana Ducks to 1 in the Cyclones league victory on Thursday.

The Cyclones now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kewanee for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. West Prairie will meet a Boilermakers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Boilermakers record now stands at 1-1.

The Ducks (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL). The Flying Geese enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Wethersfield nipped Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
