Heartland Christian Saints (New Castle, IN) fans went home happy Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Suburban Christian (Indianapolis, IN), 3-0 in a league game.

The Saints now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tabernacle Christian for a Central Indiana Christian game on Tuesday, August 29. Heartland Christian will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Indiana Christian Academy (Anderson, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.

The (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Community Baptist Christian (South Bend, IN). The Cougar enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Community Baptist Christian gained a win over Emmanuel Baptist Academy (Valparaiso, IN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
