The Tupelo Golden Wave volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Hickory Flat Rebels to 1 in the Golden Wave non-league victory on Thursday.

The Golden Wave now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Germantown for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 29. Tupelo will meet a Mavericks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Spanish Fort (Spanish Fort, AL). The Mavericks record now stands at 6-5.

The Rebels (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Ripley (Ripley, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 7-7 record. In their last game, Ripley was dropped by New Albany (New Albany, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
