The Salem Quakers volleyball team (Salem, OH), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Howland Tigers (Warren, OH)

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Branch (Beloit, OH). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, West Branch was dropped by Boardman (Youngstown, OH), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Quakers encounter the Ursuline Fighting Irish (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 26. Salem will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Fighting Irish enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Maplewood (Cortland, OH).
