Indiana High School Volleyball - Wheeler over Lake Station Edison

Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles (Lake Station, IN), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Calumet New Tech Warriors (Gary, IN) in a Greater South Shore match, on Monday, August 28. Wheeler will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN).

With the loss, Lake Station Edison drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Fighting eagles travel to Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN) to clash with the Senators in a non-league match on Saturday, August 26. The Senators come into the match with a record of 2-7. Washington Township won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against DeMotte Christian (DeMotte, IN)
