The Port Gibson Blue Waves volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Lanier Bulldogs to 0 in the Blue Waves non-league victory on Thursday.

The Blue Waves now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson County for a game on Tuesday, August 29. Port Gibson will meet a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Amite County (Liberty, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.

The Bulldogs (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Forest Hill (Jackson, MS). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 0-7 record.
