The Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Spencerville Bearcats to 1 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Thursday.
The Thunderbirds now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lima Senior for a non-league game on Monday, August 28.
The Bearcats (2-2) will now prepare for their game against St. John's (Delphos, OH). The Bluejays enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, St. John's dropped by Leipsic (Leipsic, OH), 3-0, in a league game.
