Kentucky High School Volleyball - Meade County over Ohio County

Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) backers left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Green Waves battle the Frederick Fraize Aces (Cloverport, KY) in a District 11 match, on Monday, August 28. Meade County will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Aces come into the match with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Cannelton (Cannelton, IN).

With the loss, Ohio County drops to 4-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY) to battle the Maroons in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 29. The Maroons come into the match with a record of 3-5. Madisonville-North Hopkins lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY)
