The Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) volleyball overcame the host Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, Mt. Carmel upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Sundevils travel to Helix (La Mesa, CA) to face the Highlanders in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 5. The Highlanders go into the outing with a record of 3-0.
The Pointers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop's for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 29. Point Loma will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Knights record now stands at 8-2.
