In Thursday's non-league contest, the Nebraska Christian Eagles (Central City, NE) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Shelton Bulldogs (Shelton, NE), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Minden Whippets (Minden, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 26. Nebraska Christian will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Whippets go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Ord (Ord, NE).
