Illinois High School Volleyball - South County tips Southwestern

In Thursday's non-league contest, the South County Vipers (Franklin, IL) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Southwestern Piasa Birds (Piasa, IL), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Vipers face the Griggsville-Perry Tornadoes (Griggsville, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, August 28. South County will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.

With the loss, Southwestern moves to 1-3 on the year. The Piasa birds travel to Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL) to face the Explorers in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 26. The Explorers go into the contest with a record of 1-3. Marquette Catholic lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Columbia (Columbia, IL)
