The Ceres Bulldogs edged the host Golden Valley Cougars flag football team by a score of 13-8 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Orestimba Warriors (Newman, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 28. Ceres will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 27-6 non-league loss to El Capitan (Merced, CA).
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pacheco (Los Banos, CA). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Pacheco held off Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA), 52-13, in a non-league challenge.
