In Saturday's non-league match, the host Rio Mesa Spartans flag football squad scored a good 16-0 triumph over the Fillmore Flashes.
The Spartans (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Oak Park (Oak Park, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Oak Park defeated Camarillo (Camarillo, CA), 26-8, in a league match.
