California High School Flag Football - Heritage can't hold off Merced

Merced Bears (Merced, CA) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their flag football team tip the visiting Heritage Patriots (Brentwood, CA), 13-12 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Merced improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bears travel to Madera South (Madera, CA) to confront the Stallions in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 24. The Stallions enter the contest with a record of 0-0.

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 24. Heritage will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.
