West Virginia High School Soccer - Pocahontas County knocks off Frankfort

In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Pocahontas County Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Frankfort Falcons.

The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Greenbrier East got by Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV), 8-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Falcons confront the Berkeley Springs Indians (Berkeley Springs, WV) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, August 27. Frankfort will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Indians go into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Preston (Kingwood, WV).
