Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Morse Tigers (San Diego, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Coronado improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Islanders host Helix (La Mesa, CA) to encounter the Highlanders in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. The Highlanders go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Tigers now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chula Vista for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27. Morse will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
