In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host King's Academy Lions volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Seacrest Country Day Stingrays.

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Worth Christian (Boynton Beach, FL). The Defenders come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Lake Worth Christian edged Spanish River (Boca Raton, FL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Stingrays meet the Bonita Springs Bullsharks (Bonita Springs, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Seacrest Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
