In Saturday's league outing, the host Eden Prairie Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Shakopee Sabers.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN). The Bison go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Buffalo got by Monticello (Monticello, MN), 4-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Sabers play the Holy Family Catholic Fire (Victoria, MN) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, August 27. Shakopee will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Fire go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Blake (Minneapolis, MN).
