The Blue River (David City, NE) softball nipped the host Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride (Omaha, NE), 7-6 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Guardian Angels Central Catholic for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 24. Blue River will encounter a Bluejays team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Blue River (David City, NE). The Bluejays record now stands at 2-0.
