The Empire Bulldogs softball squad (Duncan, OK), was routed 14-1 in Saturday's league contest with the visiting Fort Cobb-Broxton Mustangs (Fort Cobb, OK)
With the triumph, Fort Cobb-Broxton improves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Mustangs host Verden (Verden, OK) to face the Tigers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 27. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 4-6.
The Bulldogs now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Waurika for a Class A contest on Monday, August 26. Empire will face a Eagles squad coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Big Pasture (Randlett, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 0-8.
